Our Name
What Does Tetakawi Mean?
Tetakawi is inspired by the Yaqui-named mountain, Teta Kawi, near San Carlos and our flagship Manufacturing Campus in Empalme, Sonora. Teta Kawi means “Rock Mountain”, a symbol of strength in the region. The name reflects how we approach our work: building stable, lasting environments where manufacturers can operate and grow with confidence.
