Jeremy Main, SVP at Consolidated Precision Products, on the CPP production floor with a Tetakawi team member | Tetakawi

“When you expand into Mexico, you don’t know what you don’t know. Tetakawi fills those gaps, from labor and shipping to compliance and tax, and when a question comes up they don’t have the answer to, they find it for us the same day. Having that expertise in place has been critical to our ability to operate and grow in Mexico.”

Carlos Rivera, Plant Manager at HUBER+SUHNER, during a business meeting | Tetakawi

“Imagine growing from 100 to nearly 960 people in seven months, standing up four shifts with every position hired and trained. Tetakawi was working hand in hand with us the whole way, finding the people and bringing them to work for us. I don’t think we could have achieved it without them.”

Carlos Rivera, Plant Manager, HUBER+SUHNER

Brian Berich, Director of Operations at BAE Systems, at Tetakawi's Roca Fuerte Campus in Guaymas

“Tetakawi is a one-stop shop for doing business in Mexico. The biggest surprise was how much support we got: they take hiring, recruiting, transportation and the legal side off our hands, so a risk-averse company like BAE stays inside every local and federal law. That’s why we’ve stayed.”

Brian Berich, Director of Operations, BAE Systems

Jon Jensen, manufacturing CEO and long-time Tetakawi client, during an interview about manufacturing in Mexico | Tetakawi

“Working with Tetakawi gets you in business much quicker and removes a lot of the risk. Understand the model first. Run it against your business case. Test it against your assumptions, and get up and running with a partner that manages what they manage, so that you can manage what you know.”

TE Connectivity director of operations at the Bella Vista Manufacturing Campus in Mexico

“TE has been here since 1989 and has been evolving right along with Tetakawi. The key to this relationship is Tetakawi bringing in the talent and the human resources, and we bring in the technology and the products that need to be built here. That bond is what has kept us growing, on the talent this region has.”

Ricardo Gómez, Director of Operations, TE Connectivity

Mauricio Garcia, Plant Manager at Gemini Group, at Tetakawi's Zapa Campus in Saltillo | Tetakawi

“Being inside the Tetakawi Campus is like staying at an all-inclusive hotel. I have all the resources I need to make my company profitable, so I can focus 100% on that, with the right people, the right building and the right resources in one place. A stable operation in every sense is what makes us profitable.”

Mauricio García, Plant Manager, Gemini Group

Pursuit Aerospace general manager at the Roca Fuerte Manufacturing Campus in Guaymas, Mexico

“Tetakawi is a turnkey environment, and it is easy for foreign companies to come here and open operations in Mexico. Tetakawi is speed, compliance and focus: compliance because they help you with all the paperwork, and focus because it allows management to stay on the operation, quality and growth.”

Enrique Vega, General Manager, Pursuit Aerospace

Marco Lopez, Vice President and General Manager at Intec, at Tetakawi's Roca Fuerte Campus in Mexico | Tetakawi

“If I have to show one thing about Tetakawi it is the integrated systems. They take up all the complexity; all the departments are connected to help us focus on the operation, the evolution, and bringing customers in for our business growth. Tetakawi is reliable, a strategic partner.”

Marco López, Vice President and General Manager, Intec Group

Commercial Sewing plant manager at the Zapa Manufacturing Campus in Saltillo, Mexico

“Aside from the physical space where we operate, Tetakawi provides the manpower we need, supports us in getting things in and out of the country, and helps make sure we comply with all regulations. Once we started with Tetakawi we were up and running and shipping finished product in three months. That is what the Campus gives us.”

Agustín Mendoza, Plant Manager, Commercial Sewing

FAQs

How We Make Manufacturing in Mexico Easier

The questions we get most often from manufacturers on the first call. If yours is not here, ask us.

Contact Us

What happens after we reach out?

A conversation about your operation, not a pitch.

We ask about the process, the volume, and what is forcing the move. Then we tell you what we think, including when Mexico is not the answer. You will leave knowing whether a Campus fits, what it would cost, and what would have to be true.

Nothing is committed on that call.

What does evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing support look like?

It starts with whether Mexico and a Campus fit the operation you run.

You tell us the process, the volumes, the certifications, the labor profile and the constraints you are working against. We build the business case and the launch plan from that.

Once you move forward, a Tetakawi launch leader carries one plan across workforce setup, facility readiness, compliance and trade. After launch, the Campus leadership on site and the specialists behind them stay with the operation.

Is Tetakawi a contract manufacturer?

No.

You control production, process and quality, along with your certifications, your equipment and your IP.

Tetakawi does not run your lines or make your product. We provide and manage the operating environment around your factory: industrial space, workforce administration, logistics and trade operations, and compliance. Your leadership team stays focused on output, quality, and performance.

How is Tetakawi different from traditional shelter service providers?

Most providers offer a similar list of services; what differs is how they are put together.

Tetakawi concentrates them. The teams that run your building and recruit your workforce are on the Campus your plant sits on. The trade and compliance groups behind them sit in the same organization. One company, one accountability line.

That is integration. It compounds three ways.

  • Economies of scale: recruiting, trade and facilities run at a size no single plant would build alone.
  • Economies of scope: one organization runs all four pillars, so the handoffs between them are ours.
  • Economies of learning: what one launch teaches goes into the next one.

Who does what day to day in the Tetakawi model?

Your team runs manufacturing.

You direct production, training, quality, and performance.

Tetakawi supports the workforce and operating environment that makes that possible at scale: recruiting, hiring administration, onboarding support, HR programs, and retention systems.

We also manage the compliance and trade environment around your operation, including labor, fiscal, environmental, and import/export processes, so your team can stay focused on running the plant.

What are the main measurable benefits of the Campus Model?

The Campus Model is designed to deliver a faster launch, lower overhead, and more predictable operations.

  • Faster launch: We can help you get started in as little as 30 days, in a building that is already standing. Three to six months from signing is more typical. Standing up a plant on your own usually takes eight to eighteen months.
  • Fewer handoffs: One coordinated system instead of separate vendors, so fewer things sit waiting on someone else.
  • Lower overhead: Companies can reduce overhead by up to 30% through shared systems and economies of scale.
