Our Approach
Every Campus sits in a region with an established manufacturing workforce. Three things run around your operation: the people, the building, and the movement of material across the border.
Tetakawi recruits machinists, inspectors, assemblers, welders, and electrical technicians, depending on what your operation runs. You set the skill bar, and hiring continues after launch.
You control quality, certifications, and customer approvals. Tetakawi manages the facility and operating environment around your plant: utilities, secure grounds, and controlled material flow.
In Mexico, Tetakawi is the importer and exporter of record; entering the United States, your company is. Tetakawi keeps the customs and inventory record, and a licensed Mexican broker files each entry.

You do.
Your quality system, certifications and customer approvals stay in your name, and the plant in Mexico runs under your quality system. Tetakawi holds none of them. Tetakawi is not a contract manufacturer.

Mexico has the machinists, inspectors and technicians for precision machining, non-destructive testing, welding, assembly and wiring. The sector grew from 100 manufacturing firms in 2004 to 368 by mid-2023, with $10.7 billion in aerospace exports in 2024, on U.S. International Trade Administration figures.
What aerospace products are manufactured in Mexico?
Four kinds of work, broadly.
Precision components: machining and metal fabrication for engine and structural parts. Electrical and electromechanical: wire harnesses, electrical assemblies, and avionics-related subassemblies. Complex assembly: interiors, structures, and mechanical subassemblies. And manufacturing that depends on controlled special processes, where a customer approval governs the process as tightly as the part.
What is the Guaymas aerospace cluster known for?
Engine and turbine components, with the special-process suppliers around them.
The U.S. International Trade Administration highlights five major aerospace clusters: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Querétaro and Nuevo León. Guaymas, in Sonora, is one of Mexico’s most aerospace-specialized manufacturing cities, with local suppliers for heat treatment and non-destructive testing. Roca Fuerte Campus sits in that corridor, and four further Campuses run in Empalme, Hermosillo, Saltillo and Mazatlán.
