Our Leadership

Tetakawi is still led by the people who built it: three of our founders serve on the Board, and our management team has spent decades helping manufacturers succeed in Mexico.

“Choosing to expand into Mexico isn’t the hard part. The true challenge is figuring out how to execute your plans against an increasingly complex economic and political backdrop. Our Manufacturing Campuses are designed for this moment.”

Carlos Martin Espriu, EVP of Operations at Tetakawi, sharing his leadership perspective | Tetakawi

“We treat our client’s facility as an embassy. The plant manager is the ambassador, and we are the service provider. Anything that does not add value to the reason they came to Mexico, we take off their plate.”

Carlos Martín Espriu, EVP of Operations

Elsa M. Sturza, EVP of Finance and CFO at Tetakawi, sharing her leadership perspective | Tetakawi

“Mexico’s fiscal system is rigorous and fully digital. We built our controls to match, so a manufacturer’s team can stay focused on the plant and not on Mexican tax administration.”

Elsa M. Sturza, EVP of Finance and CFO

Eduardo Saavedra, EVP of Business Development at Tetakawi, sharing his perspective | Tetakawi

“Everything is you inside the four walls of that building: your management, your culture, your equipment. We are just allowing you to expand more easily into Mexico.”

Eduardo Saavedra, EVP of Business Development

Jose Humberto Colunga, EVP of Technology and Innovation at Tetakawi, sharing his perspective | Tetakawi

“Mexico is its own country, with its own rules, so from the beginning we built our systems in-house. Forty years of manufacturers of every shape and size have proven them.”

José Humberto Colunga, EVP of Technology and Innovation

Armando Lee, General Manager for Sonora at Tetakawi, sharing his leadership perspective | Tetakawi

“We have engineers and supervisors today who were babies in our daycare. They grew up, went through school and university, and now they work with us. That is how Tetakawi helps families in this community thrive for generations.”

Armando Lee, General Manager, Sonora

Rafael Amar, General Manager for Coahuila at Tetakawi, sharing his leadership perspective | Tetakawi

“Before I was the director here, I was a Tetakawi client, running a stamping plant on this Campus. If I had known this model in my early manufacturing years, I would have started here.”

Rafael Amar, General Manager, Coahuila

Helio Barriga, General Manager for Mazatlan at Tetakawi, sharing his leadership perspective | Tetakawi

“We guide your corporate office through the intricacies of doing business in Mexico. At the end of the day, our clients are responsible for 100% of production, and we are your second set of eyes and ears here on the ground.”
